Mr. Seymore's Classes

7th Grade Science classes

WELCOME!!!!
This is going to be a great year.  We will study Life Science.    Don't let 7th grade scare you, but expect to have a good time while learning.   We will have to do more with paper and pen/pencil than in the past so please bring those items everyday.

Lesson plans will cover a week at a time.  I will try to let the students and parents know well ahead of any tests or notebook checks.  I try to compile a study guide for my tests.  Occasionally plans will change before the end of the week to ensure student comprehension. I expect students to study at home, but only on rare occasions will there be assigned homework.  All notebook work is given time in class to complete.  As a result of this I also do not allow extra credit work.  Notebook assignments are written on my whiteboard and stay until I check notebooks.  This way should a student be absent they still have time to see what they missed and have time (3days according to policy) to complete it.  Additionally, I use a text/email system from Remind.com.
