8th Grade got to spend the first month in the STEAM lab this year meeting Kiki the dog in the Lego Spike Education Kits. They got experience building Kiki the dog with legos and the color sensor. After builidng the project, they got to experiment with the color sensor to see that the lego kit can identify different colors and react to those colors based on the code written in the programming. Students then got a chance to predict what was happening to Kiki the dog based on the reactions. They got test different sounds that they could program Kiki the dog to make in reaction to different colors.
