COLOR is the theme of the day. Being that this whole event is to raise $ for the Art Department, we want to see as much color in the day through student art and in race attire!
Dress as you wish, but if you so choose, dress as COLORFULLY as you can. $25 Dick's GC's for the most colorfully dressed male and female from the 5K and 1 mile.

Mrs. Calvert's kindergarten class had a great time with Drop Everything and Read to celebrate Read Across America.


Following today's National Weather Service briefing, Dr. Barnette has decided to have a remote learning day on Friday, March 3, 2023. Cullman County will be under a rare high wind warning beginning tomorrow. We are expecting sustained winds 30-40 MPH with gusts 50-60 MPH, well above safe operating conditions for school buses. The NWS says to expect - and be prepared - for downed trees and power outages. Students will be provided assignments to complete tomorrow.

Can't make it to Birmingham Monday night to support the Lady Eagles in person? Join us for a watch party in the elementary gym. All students and community members are invited. Admission is free. Concessions will be sold. Doors open at 5:30 and tip-off is at 6. Go Eagles!


CSE PreK-5th participated in the Kids Heart Challenge this year for the American Heart Association. The students who participated were able to raise $3227.65 to be used for lifesaving research! CSE had nearly 100 students register in the Kids Heart Challenge to learn lifesaving techniques for hands-only CPR.
Alexis Twilley, a kindergarten student raised an incredible $600.73.


Eat some chicken for a good cause! Come out and support the Cold Springs Softball Program on Tuesday, February 21st at the Olive Street Zaxby's.
