Due to the risk of severe weather, Cullman County Schools will be remote again tomorrow. (Thursday 2/16/23). There is a strong possibility for tornadoes and I believe that parents should be able to make the decision to carry their children to a storm shelter as needed. If storms are not in our area students should use this time to catch up on any school work or spend time practicing their reading. Thank you and please stay safe. - Shane Barnette

Please help us congratulate Amari Gaddis. Amari is our2nd 9weeks 1st-4th grade Servant Leadership Award Winner. Here is what was said of Amari: Amari demonstrates leadership through his service to others in many ways. He is always eager to help others without having to be asked. I have seen him help his classmates with their work, and put misplaced items back where they go in our classroom. I often see him organizing our iPads and other things in our class without being asked. He never points out what he does and never needs recognition for it. These qualities make him a great servant leader and show everyone what it means to Do Justice.

Please help us congratulate Marlee Lamb. Marlee is our 2nd 9weeks PreK-K Servant Leadership Award Winner. This is what was said about her: Marlee is a joy to be around. She is always very respectful in the library and reminds others what they are supposed to be doing. She is helpful and kind. Her servant leadership inspires others to do the right thing as well. Marlee is a great example of what it means to Love Kindness.
