It's about that time! Our classroom spelling bees are coming up soon! If your child is interested please encourage them to participate in the classroom spelling bee during their English class on Friday, November 14.
š Classroom winners will move on to compete in the schoolwide spelling bee in the gym at a later date. While parents are not allowed to attend the classroom spelling bee, you will be notified if your child wins so that you can attend our schoolwide spelling bee!

Our 8th graders have been busy in the science lab exploring elements, compounds, and mixtures! š§ŖāØ
This week in Mrs. McSpadden's class, students became mini scientists as they mixed different chemicals to discover the difference between homogeneous (solutions) and heterogeneous (suspensions) mixtures. They loved seeing science in action ā and learning that not all mixtures are created equal! š©āš¬šØāš¬

Itās that time of year again! Our annual flu clinic will be held Tuesday, October 29 here at GHMS.
Students must have a completed consent form to receive the flu vaccine.
š Consent forms can be picked up in the front office or from Nurse Paula.


ā Each week, students with perfect attendance are entered into a drawing for Raider Bucks, which can be spent at the break stand.
ā Each month, the classroom with the highest attendance percentage earns a popsicle party and gets to proudly display the Attendance Trophy.
